Cup nights

The Midseason Cup (Nov 4) and the Final (Dec 2). Everyone starts at zero, so a first-timer can win.

The 60-minute agenda

    Officers set up

    Open /tv on the TV and /host on an officer laptop, deal the power-up cards, set out the sign-in sheet.

  2. 6 min
    Check-in & squad up

    Join on your phone, collect your power-ups, make teams in /host. Optional draft: the top XP players are captains.

  3. 3 min
    Opening

    Everyone starts at 0. Explain power-ups and the All-In final.

  4. 8 min
    Round 1: Output? Lightning

    6 quick questions at 1 point each. Gets everyone warmed up.

  5. 12 min
    Round 2: Wiki Race

    Two races, scored by finishing place.

  6. 14 min
    Round 3: Code Relay

    One problem, 12-minute cap, swap drivers every 2 minutes.

  7. 9 min
    Round 4: All-In Bug Hunt

    Two normal snippets, then teams secretly wager any of their points on one hard snippet.

  8. 3 min
    Final standings

    Reveal from last place to first. If there’s a tie, play one sudden-death Output? question.

  9. 5 min
    Trophy

    Winners sign the Golden Keycap and take a team photo.

Changes for the Final

  • Cut Round 1 to 4 questions and Round 2 to one race. That frees 7 minutes for season awards.
  • 5:52 Final standings, 5:54 Season awards, 5:58 Season 1 preview and the feedback form.
  • The Midseason champions defend the Keycap. Introduce them before Round 1.
